Hi, I'm Shane Dolman-Smith, a filmmaker specializing in sound recording & post-production audio. I completed the film and television diploma program at Humber Polytechnic in April 2025. I am currently in my 3rd year of the Bachelor of Film and Media Production program at Humber Polytechnic. I focus on capturing and designing audio that brings stories to life.

 

My experience spans documentaries and student productions, where I’ve refined both my technical expertise and creative instincts.

 

I’ve also taken on roles as a Producer and Production Manager. Where I solved production challenges, managed limited budgets and made sure production ran smoothly. These roles have enhanced my organizational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving, allowing me to confidently navigate both the creative and logistical aspects of the production.

When using various tools on location, I’m driven by a passion for storytelling and the belief that every detail matters. My attention to detail ensures that all audio is clear and concise.

When I am not working, during my free time I enjoy working out, playing sports and spending time with family.​
